Since the State Govt. has declared holidays on 26th and 27th October 2017 due to "Chat puja", interview for the candidates for Group D posts, scheduled on 26th and 27th Oct 2017 will now be held on 6th Nov 2017and 4th Dec 2017 respectively. The time and venue remains the same.

INFORMATION TO APPLICANTS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION FOR GROUP D POSTS 2017.

Additional information to the PWD candidates appearing in the written examination for recruitment to the post of Group D

The revised date of written examination for Group D posts has been finally fixed on 20th May, 2017 (Saturday). Time of examination is from 2.30 pm to 3.45 pm and duration of examination will be 75 minutes instead of 90 min. as announced earlier. Reporting time for the candidates will now be 12.30 pm and time for entry in the Exam Hall will be from 1.30 pm. Admission to the Exam Hall will not be allowed after 2.20 pm. The Admit Cards issued for 14th May 2017 will remain valid for the revised examination date.

MCQ type questions will be set from both old and new syllabus of class VIII standard of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Interview for the post of Data Entry Operator in W.B.G.D.R.B

On the basis of written examination, computer proficiency test and computer typing test, 45 (forty five) number of candidates have been shortlisted and have been called for interview, to be held on 7th and 8th March 2017, from 11 AM at Board?s office in New Town. Invitation of sealed quotations for Facility Management service.

Finance Department, W.Bengal has approved filling up of 6,000 vacancies in group D posts, in the first phase, vide their order dated 4th October 2016. Agreement has been signed with the selected Consultant who will assist the Board in the Recruitment process. Advertisement inviting applications will be published as soon as the Revised Recruitment Rule is issued by the Finance Department, which is expected by 1st week of November 2016.

The West Bengal Group D Recruitment Board, Government of West Bengal intends to select a Recruitment Consultant and invites Sealed Tenders from eligible and bona fide organizations / Firms, who have been short-listed through invitation of Expression of Interest, for assisting the Board in the matter of recruitment of Group D personnel in various offices of the State Government. Request For Proposals are being sent to the short-listed Firms through E-mails. Names of the short-listed Firms have been put up under Tender page of the Board?s website www.wbgdrb.in. Selection of Consultant/ Agency/ Firm, on the basis of E.O.I, for participation in Tender for Gr D Recruitment

The new office address of the office of The Chairman, W.B.Group D Recruitment Board is ?Utility Buildings, Action Area IIC, Near Mangaldeep Rotary, Action Area IIC, New Town, Kolkata-700161?. The Board office has started functioning in its new location from 18th April 2016.

Opening of the ?Expressions of Interest? received from different Agencies/ Firms against the Notice No WBGDRB/EOI/1/2016 dated 24.02.2016, will take place on 27th April 2016 at 11 AM, in the office of W.B.Group D Recruitment Board at Utility Building, Action Area IIC, Near Mangaldeep Rotary, New Town, Kolkata ? 700161. Agencies/ Firms participating in the ?EOI? may send their authorized representatives to be present at the time of opening.

Extension of date of submission
With reference to the Notice no WBGDRB/EOI/1/2016 dated 24.2.2016, which was published in newspapers on 25.2.2016, as well as put up in the websites www.wbpar.gov.in, www.banglarmukh.gov.in and www.wbgdrb.in, the last date of submission of E.O.I has been extended to 15th April, 2016 (up to 3 PM).
